Hello everyone, I wanted to take a brief moment to welcome everybody to the 2012 /13 school year. My name is Mr. Smith and I will be the new Ventures Teacher for the upcoming school year. I very excited for the year to get started and look foward to find out how every ones summer went.
On another note we have some exciting news as we have moved classrooms, we are now located in room #103 downstairs. The room is much bigger and a great space for all of us to collaborate in. Also returning is Mrs Wilson who is very excited to see every one, and we have a new face in the program in Mrs. Beal, who's is looking forward to meeting everyone this next week.
My plan for this year is to incorporate this blog along with some other technology that will provide another means of communicating with the students, and parents of the Ventures Program here at Central Middle School.

ReplyDeleteSeems like just yesterday I was leaving for summer vacation, but looking back it has been a very eventful last 2 months, full of visits with friends and family, time spent in BC and the Rocky Moutains & catching up on rest at home in Red Deer. I am ready to get back to Central & am looking forward to the new year!
I will also be going back to school full time at the Red Deer College, completing my Social Work Degree with the U of C Collaborative Program. It will be a busy year, but I enjoy the variety & the excitment of new learning opportunities.
